Chiming in for the first time. Andy and I just returned from Germany where we participated in W.E.’s last AGM. Very similar in fashion to the time we shared in Greece. There is a grieving process that goes on with death. I have been praying for Derek, ask I know you all have, in the death of his mother. We are also grieving the death of Western Europe and Central and Eastern Europe. They are no more. We have closed the door on those regions. Those acronyms will no longer be a part of our IMB culture. (Although we have plenty more to learn to take their place.) But just as in nature death brings new life, so we are looking expectantly at something new being created across our world. Those of us in Calypso North are in on the very beginning of a new cluster, a new team, a new design, a new strategy and even a new culture that describes our specific team. Let us appreciate and remember our past, but let us make sure we turn our focus forward towards the living. How is God desiring to use each of us in this new cluster? “Therefore, holy brothers who share in this heavenly calling, FIX YOUR THOUGHTS (consider, turn your attention to, focus on, fix your gaze upon) ON JESUS, the apostle and high priest whom we confess.” Heb 3:1 Thank you for the privilege of walking through this new adventure with you. “It happens here first.”
